Re: A few finds from my garden.

Thank you for those links guys, there's a lot of info there. I think I'll have to take that in bite size pieces as there a lot to take in for "kindergarten boy". Absolutely fascinating though, I have never really given it much thought before. Thanks again for your help, you guys are so knowledgeable...

Re: A few finds from my garden.

Thanks very much for the info guys, I've got so much to learn. I went for another look around when I got home, never happened before but my mint plant is now under attack, can't believe I missed this last night. A few finds from my garden.

Hi all, I was having a short conversation with another member earlier about a plant in my garden, he asked me if it had rust anywhere, Now that got me thinking about it, I have rust (and many other diseases?) in many parts of my garden. Funny thing is, I've never really thought of it as a fungus( al...

Re: I.D please

More than likely, I have rust all over my garden but have never identified it, I don't have a microscope ( at least not a proper one) so a bit out of my depth, I will go and get some pics now and put them up. Should I post them here or the rusts thread?

Thanks

Re: I.D please

Hi many thanks, that might explain things then, as the leaves are much large and the fruits are much smaller than any pictures I can find.

Thank you again

Re: I.D please

Hi, I think iv got it, Hypericum of some sort? It just looks different to any pics I can find, but that's what I'm thinking so far. Just hope somebody else can be more certain.

Many thanks,

Paul

I.D please

Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help with this, this has popped up in my garden having never been there before, I have never seen it before my guess is the thrushes planted it for me (possibly a payment for the all the strawberrys they've been dining on). Anyway, I am a bit late getting a photo...

Introducing myself.

Hi everyone! I wasn't sure where to post this, my name is Paul, a failed wannabe rock-god disguised as a funiture fitter, and living in Edinburgh. I have always had a great passion for the natural world, without having the knowledge to no what I am looking at most of the time. For the last 3 year I ...
