Ramaria stricta - Upright Coral - is just one of the hundreds of kinds of fungi found on our local Sheffield allotments - the variety of substrates is huge. I have established a "fungus garden" in a quiet corner of our allotment, composed of logs and sticks on a thick bed of woodchip. Sometimes I see more fungi on the allotments than I do on a walk through the Peak District - especially the green desert of the White Peak.
