I'm cheating as there are 2 here, 3 if you include the host, but they are related.

Nice finds! After much hunting and smelling rotten Russulas I finally found A.parasitic 2 weeks ago

I'm moving from West Wales to Devon and found these Hygrocybe conica (Blackening Waxcap) in my new lawn on Saturday !
If I believed in signs I'd think this was one!
A bit of frost over the weekend so caught them just in time.
Interesting to see them surrounded by Achillea

Not the most exotic of toadstools, though it's always pleasant to have one which can be named confidently in the field, thanks to its habitat and the distinctive silvery sheen on the stipes, which rubs of with age and handling.
This was photographed in an area not far from one which was clear felled around 2005. A visit to that site in November of that year saw a huge fruiting of this species. Conveniently the area formed a triangle, bounded by forest tracks; Google Earth provided measurements. I made a whole series of counts of fruitbodies within approximately 1 metre squares, scattered across the site. Finally those dim and distant school trigonometry lessons proved their worth! At every stage I erred on caution, but the astonishing total I came up with was circa 440,000 fruitbodies - a visit 3 years later yielded only a handful. . . Hypholoma marginatum

Nicely done.
Is there a reason for starting a new 'Fungus of the Day' thread?
Regards, Chris

Thanks. That's a good point - I just clicked on the one above, without realising it was a new thread. Perhaps Adam can sort this one?Chris Johnson wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 1:53 pmNicely done.

Looks like Gary had inadvertently started a new thread. - I've combined it with the ongoing one.
