Fungi in the Landscape
Re: Fungi in the Landscape
Phaeolus schweinizii in a Longshaw pine wood.
Re: Fungi in the Landscape
On a North Wales holiday I tried to get images of mushrooms with the beautiful coastline - without "gardening" around the fungi. It was very difficult.
Ar wyliau yn Ngogledd Cymru ddaru mi drio tynnu lluniau o fadarch gyda'r arfordir hyfryd - heb "arddio" o gwmpas y ffwng. Roedd hi'n anodd iawn.

Nice photos, Steve. Can I suggest you don't use the place inline feature, though, as they are easier to view and appreciate in a grid format, especially on a laptop with a smaller screen.

I visited Hatfield Forest on Sunday, and took a few photos with this thread in mind.

Street and park fungi in Sheffield last Tuesday, using the smart phone - nobody blinks an eye if you use that instead of a big camera.
Quite agree with layout Adam! Especially these smart phone images.

More street and park photos from Sheffield.

Duncombe Park today with lots of Waxcaps. Unfortunately many had been "got" by the frost but still enough to keep me busy. Here is a couple of Hygrocybe pratensis.

The last of the season's grassland fungi at Longshaw included this Meadow Coral - Clavulinopsis corniculata. The Cladonia lichens were far better than the non-lichenised fungi.
