Fungi on invertebrates

I know some naturalists don't like the term "invertebrates" but in this context I crave their indulgence.

This was collected recently while searching for microfungi on gorse. I am grateful to the YNU Coleoptera Recorder Bob Marsh for his prompt response; this weevil (scarce in Yorks but widely distributed - 14 previous records) feeds mainly on broom, but also on gorse (of which there is a large population in the area where it was collected):
