The weather here has been very warm and muggy after rain, after an extended hot and dry period.
I can’t recall ever walking through so many mouldy mushrooms!
Here is what I think is a red cracking bolete but look at the fungus on fungus!
Would be grateful for comments/explanations/observations...

One of the mucor species - possibly a Spinellus, but I don't think you would get any nearer without microscopy.
