Inonotus Dryadeus

Post by Nancy » Sun Aug 30, 2020 6:33 pm

Hello,
Attached are two photos of (I think?) an Inonotus Dryadeus bracket fungus or an Oak bracket I found growing at the base of an Oak tree, when I was out walking today. It measured 50cm across,Ive never seen one before and it was dripping.
Could anyone confirm this is an Inonotus Dryadeus and has anybody seen one before?
Thank you
